RESTORATIVE YOGA and MEDITATION Monthly workshops with Angela and Jacki
Take this time for yourself to renew, refresh, re-boot and restore. Reconnect to the evenness and calmness of your own mind and heart. The practices of yoga in these monthly workshops include easeful yoga stretches, deeply restful restorative yoga poses, breathing practices, guided meditation, and reflection. *Bring your mat, and a journal or notebook. All welcome. No experience needed. * mats are also available to borrow

Friday, March 7 6:00-8:00 pm “Melt Away Tension” Bodymind Ballwork is a practical and effective method of self-care using rubber balls of varying sizes and textures to ease tension. In this class we will learn ballwork basics and explore specialized techniques relevant to those attending. Balls will be available for use in class and for home use. No experience needed. Fee: $45
Saturday, March 8 10:00-12:30 pm “Empowered Aging” Yoga offers a path for self-understanding and transformational growth that welcomes you at any stage of your life, despite the health challenges you may have. You can start wherever you are and work intelligently from there, with many choices to be made along the way. This workshop is for all, especially those 50+. Fee: $50
Saturday, March 8 2:30-5:00 pm “Confidence & Contentment” This all-level workshop welcomes yoga students in enjoying a full array of basic yoga poses that build strength and balance while supporting the experience of inner contentment and well-being. Included will be Bodymind Ballwork and pranayama (breath work). Fee: $50
Ellen Saltonstall, E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, is a certified yoga instructor based in New York City. She has extensive training in Iyengar and Anusara Yoga, a background in professional dance and massage therapy, and has been a practitioner of meditation and yoga for over 30 years. Ellen has published five books including The Bodymind Ballwork Method, plus the most recent one: Empowered Aging: Everyday Yoga Practices for Bone Health, Strength and Balance. Ellen offers yoga therapy webinars through YogaOnlineU.com and she teaches nationally and internationally with a focus on anatomy and therapeutics. www.ellensaltonstall.com.
